Michael Knight is an 18-year-old saxophonist based in the Tampa Bay Area. Originally from Paducah, Kentucky, Michael moved to Florida at the age of nine and discovered his passion for music shortly after. By age eleven, he had picked up the saxophone, beginning a journey rooted in tradition, soul, and an unwavering love for jazz.

A dedicated student of renowned jazz saxophonist Eric Mullins, Michael is set to attend Berklee College of Music in the fall of 2025, pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Saxophone and Music Business. His vision blends performance excellence with a deep understanding of the music industry.

Michael has performed extensively across various venues and settings. His credits include playing with J.W. Mitchell High School’s Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band, featured appearances with The Sean Brown Band, local gigs with Doc Shaker’s Blues Remedy and Mullins Music, street performances at Clearwater’s Pier 60, and ensemble work with the JR Farley Big Band—to name just a few.

Whether delivering smooth jazz or commanding the spotlight with a full band, Michael brings unmatched energy and emotion to every performance. His mission is simple yet profound: to share the timeless joy of music with all audiences, honoring its rich heritage while bringing a fresh, modern voice to the genre.
